A video about The Real Food Show

The Community Food Co-op has produced a wonderful show designed to increase nutrition and health knowledge and get kids excited about healthy eating. “The Real Food Show” is a 35-minute assembly which the Food Coop offers for free to ten Whatcom County elementary schools each year. Through a series of fun routines involving audience participation, visual aids, comedy, juggling, and other circus skills, the show presents easily accessible and memorable information that inspires positive changes in students’ attitudes and behaviors. “This show can be a catalyst for the children in our communities to embrace the importance of real food and a healthy lifestyle in a fun, entertaining, and impactful way” says Karl Meyer, the Co-op’s Member Outreach Facilitator.
