Ingredients:
- 1/2 head cabbage
- 1 large carrot
- 1 medium onion
For the Dressing:
- 1 cup low-fat mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
What to do:
Finely shred the cabbage, carrot and onion. Mix well.
Combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, and salt. Add to shredded vegetables and chill.
Note: For an Asian twist try this dressing instead:
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (olive oil is best!)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
